Questions over artistic rights along with ownership have received attention by Congress along with President. In 2018, President Trump signed the Music Modernization Act into law, which is usually intended to update along with “close loopholes” in music copyright laws for the digital era. “They were treated very unfairly,” Trump said at the time. “They’re not going to be treated unfairly anymore.”
